‘Shadows’ is a series of films that explore the quiet side of obsession among athletes, and the moments out of the spotlight that shape them.

Each film captures an individual athlete exerting maximum effort in one uninterrupted take, with the camera fixed in place. It simply witnesses. When the frame never changes, there is nowhere to hide. Only effort remains.

These films are an expression of what it means to give everything.
